Built in 1899, the Miller House has been saved & completely rehabilitated by Galveston Historical Foundation after a 2018 fire. This included re-constructing approximately 30% of the L-plan building. While most of smoke damage to the interior was superficial, a significant portion of the original trim and molding was custom milled to match original material, retaining historical integrity and character. Architectural features include longleaf pine floors, windows, trim, & built-in cabinetry. Updates to the house, include new plumbing, electric, HVAC new roof & appliances (that convey). The kitchen & bathrooms boast new marble, custom cabinetry & lighting fixtures.
